The Kiwanis Club of Irondequoit was founded on October 1, 1972.


We are proud to list just a few of our past and current accomplishments.

• Prepare and deliver over 700 meals every Thanksgiving.

• Created the "Kiwanis Closet" to collect and distribute childrens clothing to needy children and families.
  

• Founded the Irondequoit Community Band.

• Built and updates the Performing Arts Center, the “Gazebo” at the Irondequoit Town Hall.

• Worked to establish the Irondequoit Volunteer Ambulance Corps, donated one of the ambulances.

• Restored the stained glass windows on the Cobble Stone Smoke House at  Sea Breeze Pocket Park.

• Donated over $25,000 to Stepping Stones Learning Center.

• Supplied CPR equipment to Town of Irondequoit.

• Worked with senior citizens at St. Ann's Home and at the Culverton.

• Sponsors a Kiwanis Key Club at Eastridge High School.

• Sponsors a Builders Club at Ivan Green School.

• Provides Scholarships each year to students of Eastridge, Irondequoit High Schools and the Eastridge Key Club.

• Started and supports an Adult Aktion Club at CP Rochester.
